Blitzkreig Zone - ermm no whats that then?

That would of been me you saw at the Honecrack gig! Was it the gig where Honeycrack had to stop playing and evacuate as someone set off the Fire Alarm?
Blitzkrieg Zone were a Local Glam band in the mould of Sigue Sigue Spuknick. Fridayz Angelz thought they were in competition with each other.
Did you go to Edwards to see some of the bands up there ie Wrathchild or Tigertailz?
The Gutter Cats started out as a semi acoustic band, playin covers of Babysitter's, Dogs D'Amour, Poison, and La Guns tunes amongst others. We used to support Shady Deal at the Dive and played The Rose on Lockhurst Lane when we moved into our electric mode. The Mysterious Monk up Whitley was another regular gig for us.
Yes that was the gig andy. As for blitzkreig zone I'm surprised I didnt remember them. Would have checked out them for sure. Must have seen ya as support to Shady Deal cos I remember them. Also remember the gigs up the Rose up Lockhurst Lane.
They also used to gigs up a club up Lochurst Lane if I remember rightly
Friday's Angels was also a Generation X song if i remember right too (Off the Valley Of The Dolls album).

Andi You are correct it was a Gen X Song, I think we just tried to Glam the name up a bit with the 'Z' 's. Fridayz Angelz were a kinda cross between Hanoi and Wrathchild Image wise.
Hey Andy69, did The Gutter Cats or Fridayz Angelz ever put anything out, like demos or anything? Soundz like it would have been good.

We did some demo's with both bands, but not on any major scale. Still have then some where.
Fridayz Angelz stuff was our own. Two of the guys bassist and guitarist, from Fridayz Angelz went on to join Brooklyn Dogs from Brum and then the Guitarist went on to join Raggity Ann from Nuneaton, and then went on to the present day to front his own band Pigfish.
The Bassist that was in the Final Line-up of Fridayz Angelz got head hunted and went off to join Stevie Jaimz Project, St Jaimz after Jaimz got the sack from Tigertailz. The bassist Chiggy didn't last long though. A few gigs at most.
I went on to form The Gutter Cats after a short break. Guttercats was some of our own songs and a cover of the Beard Song (Babysitters) and Poison's Every Rose..
Gutter Cats were never really a Glam band although we covered some of glam type tunes.More for fun like the Babysitters. We dressed colurful but that was about as glam as we got. As I said started as an Acoustic project which formed into a band over time.
We threw in a couple of Stray cat tunes and used to Punk up a few songs I.E. Walking on Sunshine and Shampoo's Trouble.
